Plank Workout

If  you want a flat tummy and a strong core than plank variations are the workouts you want to do! Doing sit ups doesn’t give you a flat tummy. In fact I’ve found that they make my tummy poke out more which is why I love planks. Plus, planks work more than just the abs, it’s a full core, back, shoulder, and even leg workout all in one.

I’ve got four different planks for you to try today! Be sure to download the workout pic to your phone and use it this week! Do each of these workouts for 1 minute and repeat 4 times!


  1.  Plank Cross Under- get into a plank position on hands and cross one foot under to the opposite side. Do this for 1 minute.

2. Running Planks- or mountain climbers whatever you want to call them. Get into a plank on hands and run your knees in. Do this for 1 minute.

3. In Out Toe Taps– Start in a plank position on elbows and tap toes out to each side then back in. Do this for 1 minute.plank

4. Alternating Superman Planks- Start in a plank position and lift arm and opposite leg then alternate to the other arm and leg. Do this for 1 minute.
